Sunday Afternoon Tea Dances –
LGBTQIA+ and Allies

For several years we offered quarterly Sunday Afternoon Tea Dances – gentle and welcoming afternoons learning some basic social dancing steps with Rachel Sparks who can teach even the most left-footed people – and with plenty of tea and cake to enjoy. There is usually a beginners’ lesson at 2.15pm to get everyone started and a number of line-dances throughout the afternoon. These are inclusive events for anyone, with a particular welcome for LGBTQIA+ people, and we ask that everyone is respectful to each other. The partnering at our tea dances is gender-neutral, meaning anyone can lead and anyone can follow, and we are completely body positive. The venue is wheelchair-accessible and has gender-neutral toilets.
